Former greens superintendents at demanding venues in Connecticut, Greg Moore and Paul Boyd saw a need for the creation of the perfect playing surface without the downtime, the mess, the fuss, the labor, the wait or the cost. They sought to simplify cultural and US Pitchcare Simplifying Cultural was born.
"Pitch" as defined by the Cambridge Dictionary, is “an area painted with lines for playing particular sports, especially football.” The world agrees that Europeans know a thing or two about their football and they are meticulous about maintaining playing surfaces that are pristine. They manage to do so by employing the use of innovative turf maintenance solutions and equipment that are being sold and distributed by US Pitchcare.

One would say that Willie was born to be on a golf course and surrounded by fine turf venues. His grandfather was the head golf professional at Yale Golf Club in the mid 1900’s and then his dad built two courses and was the superintendent for two golf courses in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Willie has an Associates of Science degree in Golf Course Operations. He brings tremendous experience to the team with expertise in drainage, tree clearing, mowing, grow-in operations; all the way through to full course construction. His work at Hudson National Golf Club and Great River Golf Club in NY and CT respectively provide a great deal of familiarity with the region.
